6 months ago my dad had to be admitted to VA hospital in Norman, OK.
The material on this quilt is his old jeans, overalls, and flannel shirts!!

My daddy is great!! The quilt was quite a chore, but it was done with love and passion, it makes him smile & happy which is priceless! It makes the times I looked at the enormous piles of jeans & flannel shirts & asked myself "what in the hell was I thinking?!?!?!" seem so minor now.
Tracee, you have had that same thought in taking on this venture, but when it all done and you can sit back and say I DID THAT!! it will make all the bumps, bruises & blood ~eewww seem minor. Hang in there!!

This is so beautiful. Been wanting to make my dad a quilt as well, since he entered the nursing home. Thanks for the great photos.
