Thank you all for reading this silly, crazy, my so called life obession with quilts and dogs, babbling blog! I am all smiles knowing that people are laughing with me... I've gone to SO many quilting blogs in an attempt to figure out how to do this - and I'm not a teacher. I was a teacher once, I taught Graphic Design for 1 1/2 at a college... Hence, I KNOW I am not a teacher. The idea of giving someone a D or F broke my heart. So, I wanted this mostly to be about an adventure - even more than quilts, laughter... Like Audrey Hepburn said, "I love people who make me laugh. I honestly think it's the thing I like most, to laugh. It cures a multitude of ills. It's probably the most important thing in a person."
Binding Bo's quilt tonight in front of the boob tube... Hm, where did that definition come from? Do you think our parents called it that because we would turn into boobs if we watched too much of it?
Dear Mom, if that is the case, please take your own advice and STOP watching the news. Turn on Seinfield or Fraiser. Love you MOM!
Cheers!

Yes, you are funny and glad to see that you know it.
I hope that your hubby tells you how lucky he is to be entertained every day with the laughter and smiles that I think you probably shower on him every day.

Yes, you are making me laugh and I can use more laughter. I can also relate to the needle through finger, bad luck there, sorry. You are also inspiring me to think what is possible this year in my quilting . You piece and quilt tops without thinking it can't be done. I need to just jump in like you are and DO . Thank you for this blog and letting us in on your adventure.

Thanks for great stories! I'm hooked and will follow all year! So nice to read a blog where someone has a life and is quilting, without also canning, reading all the latest correct books, and cooking bread from scratch!
More like life as I know it!! Thanks for showing us that it really can be real!!

You got it in 1! The term 'boob tube' did come about because my parents (your grandparents) thought it would make us into a generation of lame-brains. Hmmm.
