I got the sweetest, kindest, coolest, awesomeness, thing in the mail yesterday!
One of my blog readers, McM - sent me grey fabric from a JoAnn's in Washington!!! And I shall have you know - one of them was the right grey - so I wasn't going crazy! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! Even though Pretty in Pink is already done, grey is my favorite color to work with and this will help with continuing my journey. Not ONLY was there an unbelieveable amount of grey fabric - I got Truffles and a beautiful card with inspiring words! All of us at McCall's yesterday enjoyed them, even shared them with neighbor Das last night. BEST DAY EVER!
Dear McM, You are truly a very sweet kind person and I hope someday Erin, you and I can all have coffee or maybe a glass of wine. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, I smiled all day and I'm still smiling now because of you!
Cheers!

Thank you for your kind words, enjoy the fabrics and the chocolates. I can't believe that Erin had yesterday off and missed the arrival of the package, hopefully her surprise is still waiting for her next week.
Here's a thought, McCall's should do an article on the fantastic La Conner Quilt and Textile Museum in La Conner Wa and you and Erin should be required to personally check it out. We can meet over excellent coffee AND wine ... And a promise of more tempting chocolates for the McCall's crew.
Keep that smile shining and the laughs coming.

So I was thinking....Many of us have out of control stashes and I am sure I am not the only one out there who would love to donate fabric to your cause but I don't know what you might need. Have you thought about adding an extra tab at the top and list Quilts 1-36 and perhaps tell us? You don't have to spoil the surprise of the design or the person, but if I knew 6 quilts from now you are looking for Fussy-cut 5" square cat prints I might be able to help you out! I know I am not alone in that! I know you do not have room for a stash, but many of us are drowning in fabrics...Perhaps we could email you pictures and you can let us know if that is what you are looking for though. I would hate for you to be drowning in fabrics at work! Shanna

Shanna - HOW SUPER UBER KIND OF YOU!!!! I'll have to figure out how to post my quilts along the side! Once I do, I would love for anyone to go through their stash and send me anything. I'm going to run of fabric very quickly at this rate!
