You can do it! I have faith in you! You've done so good so far. You've inspired me to work on my UFOs and try to get them under control.

I love coming to your blog to see what you have accomplished and to see the beautiful puppers that you have, too!

Susan

I love reading your blog too! (And I am a Cat person!) You are such an inspiration to me... If you can be that productive, surely I can finish the one quilt I've been working on for weeks. I eagerly look forward to seeing what wonderful quilts you are making next.

Have you considering making a seperate page on your website to post the name, number, and photo of each of your completed quilts? This pictorial list would be a huge inspiration to you as you see the list get longer and longer! Just an idea. :-)

Miriam

Hang in there! Remember, it's not if you don't make all 36 this year you've "failed". You've already finished more quilts in a year than many of us. Whatever you get done, you get done. Enjoy your project and your goal. Don't let it become a burden. You have inspired so many of us with your kind heart and enthusiastic generosity. Keep up the good work!

Debbie

Each time I see "36 Quilts in 12 Months" in my inbox, it's the first thing I open!! You have inspired me to FINALLY make those quilts that I have been wanting to make, but just haven't. I figure if you can do it, so can I!! But lets remember to enjoy the journey and not get hung up on the goal. Lets love the process of creating and giving. We do what we can! Keep up the good work ~ and your spirits. There's a lot of us out here cheering you on!!

Rochelle

You have inspired and encouraged me for so long, I have to return the favor! Love your blog! It's especially important to me now that we don't get to talk as frequently as we once did. Your insights brighten my day and your acts of kindness remind me to pay it forward every chance I get and to count my blessings! The puppy pics make me smile too. Keep it up girlfriend! This is going to be a challenging and wonderful journey for you as much as it is for your loyal cheerleaders like me! Love you Tracee! Hang in there and never give up! Oh yeah, I know you're busy, but call me back when you get the chance!

Sherry

You are doing good, girl! I'm amazed at how much you get done in a week. I check your blog every morning. Such a great upper for first thing in the morning.

You are beautiful and brilliant! Just remember, perseverance is much more important than inspiration. Keep at it.

Liriopia

I, too, eagerly await each installment! You are fantastic and a real inspiration! And I love the quilts you are turning out!

You'e been blessed with a talent that not everybody has and the ability to share it with your loved ones. Sometimes the most special gifts in life are those which are unexpected and I'm certain your 36 recipients will cherish your art for years to come. Celebrate your achievements, plan for the next quilts of love and enjoy everything about the process!

Cheering you on from Cincinnati!

I just LOVE opening my email and finding the next message from you. You have me laughing out loud (at work also);) I am amazed at the amount you accomplish each week and I was so inspired that I finished 3 UFO's last weekend. Thanks for being so open and funny about everything. Have a happy quilting week- I look forward to each quilt and wait to see what the dogs are doing.

Kathy

Keep it up! Love reading your blog!

We have never met, but I found your blog via McCall's. I have enjoyed reading about your adventures in the most amazing and ambitious project EVER! I even have my husband stopping by to read your exploits. You deserve all the compliments one can offer. I am a beginning blanket maker (not quite a quilter) and I am in absolute awe of you and your talent. And I love that you are sharing your talent! How wonderful!!! Please know that the work you are putting into this project and the back stories you are sharing make reading your blog delightful. Hopefully one year in the future I will be able to be as ambitious and generous with my craft as you are with yours. Until then, I will be reading and smiling and encouraging (mostly quietly) from my computer. I am so excited to see you finish these projects. Keep up the good work Tracee. You are an inspiration!

Looks like your fishing is going well! I love the stories and the pictures of your progress. Your humorous reminds me of my Mom. I love it!!

I stop by once or twice a week to see your progress. I love hearing how you decided on a pattern or fabric to match the recipient. Piecing and quilting three quilts a month while holding a full-time job is crazy ambitious, but I'm sure you'll pull it off! :)

I'm really glad I discovered your blog. I like your writing style, and even though I am a self-proclaimed 'cat' person - I enjoy seeing pics of the puppies and hearing of their escapades. I have a simliar goal, but I'm not trying to cram it into a single year. I hope to get a quilt out to those that mean something to me, it just may take a lifetime to do it.

Karen

Like I said before, if anyone can do this YOU can! Eat a little more fruit for energy but stay away from Kiwi! That's just gross!

Miss Pink

Ah, Sweetie, it's natural to hit a wall on a project like this, many walls in fact. And you're so smart to ask for encouragement when you need it. I, too, read your blog first thing, except when I have something I don't want to do. Then I use your blog as a reward for when I've finished whatever the unfun thing is. You might want to think about changing things up a bit when you're hitting one of these walls. Maybe you should just piece for 3 weeks, then quilt for 2 weeks, and bind for 1 week. Something like that. Or perhaps make a really small quilt, or 2, or 3. Nothing says they all have to be big, right? One of my favorite quilts is a doll quilt I made for my grown-up self. Doll quilts are really fun to make! And, remember, sometimes finished is better than perfect. Perfect isn't really for humans. Love you!

I stumbled across your blog earlier this week, and was amazed by what you've set out to do. I think it's absolutely wonderful and I'm completely impressed at how you're keeping up with the pace. I decided a while back that I want to make quilts for all the little boys in my family this year. 6 of them. It's been suggested to me that perhaps I'm being a little over ambitious, what with having a dog and a full time job. Reading your blog has validated my plan, and made it seem easy peasy in comparison. But most of all, I'm in awe of the heart that you're putting into the whole process. All 36 quilt recipients are blessed indeed to receive a quilt, and even more, to have someone like you in their lives.
