Antique shopping this last weekend. Found a few treasures. Goal of the trip down to Pueblo was to find this certain fabric to complete the backing for a quilt.
Ended up I was wrong and the shop I was seeking was in Florence. So, we ended up in Florence.
I almost gave up on this one...
It's better not to give up. Especially on a quilt.
As always, credit to the designer.
Kind of wanted to piece the back but my favorite color is not pink, so I had purchased 2 yards of a particular fabric and I decided after a few months to stick to this one.
If you've read my blog for awhile you know my feelings about sewing machines. This is AWESOME fabric. Haven't taken the time to look this up online as sometimes it's more fun to find things in "real" person fashion...
After a morning in Pueblo and this wonderful find we ended up at the Whiskey Baron to see a concert, a show or maybe watch people do the 2 step.
She needs a little work but I got her for $20.
I think I'll quilt this girl on Bernie. I fell for the peach.
Books I found...
Postcards made from wood - probably not a good idea to send them solo???
Wonderful artwork if anything else, right?
The concert, show or whatever you want to call it, we saw Randall King and my roommate bought me this t-shirt. Pretty sure, it's true.
Today I'll get the back put together for the pink quilt and continue studying to take the GMAT and possibly start researching the LSAT. Probably going back to school. Unfortunately haven't decided exactly what for. Business or Law. Yet as always, quilts and dogs...
My boys.
As always,
Traci (ee), Tod and Cooper.
Till next time.
